Meghan Ann McMullen is the Founder of yogATL. Meghan Ann or “MAM" began her personal yoga practice as cross training for her competitive running. After her first class, she fell in love with how yoga was able to refine the body, the mind, and the spirit in unison. Meghan Ann, already a health and wellness advocate, became an integral part of the transformative Yoga community in Atlanta by continuously training and teaching for several years.
After receiving her 500 hour RYT and her 95 hour RCYT certifications, she longed for a deeper way to both impact and give back to the community. yogATL was born. yogATL marries yoga with philanthropic involvement while connecting the Atlanta community at large. Meghan Ann resides in Adair Park and enjoys cooking farm-to-table from her backyard garden, and listening to bands around town.
How Does it Work?
Meghan Ann worked with her network and community to identify a diverse group of yoga instructors ranging with experience and certifications in Prenatal care, Children’s Yoga, Kundalini, Yin, Bikram, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vinyasa, and Hatha. yogATL utilizes only certified yoga instructors with the Yoga Alliance and each instructor falls under an insurance policy. It is OK if a client does not know their asana from their elbow! yogATL instructors ensure that every participant feels welcome - it is a no-chanting, no-crunchy granola, limited Sanskrit approach to learning or advancing a yoga practice.
By purchasing a package, each client is able to specify needs and goals for their desired yoga experience and will be matched with an instructor best suited to teach based on both schedules and objectives. Becoming a client of yogATL will allow clients to not only to improve their physical and mental health, but will afford them the opportunity to support our local community!
